Right to education

While working in the community, Ashwaas accidentally uncovered a critical gap in the education system — the government's Right to Free Education for girls ends after Standard VIII. This meant that many bright, deserving girls from underprivileged backgrounds were forced to drop out of school simply because their families couldn’t afford secondary school fees. It was a silent crisis, cutting short the futures of countless young girls with potential.

Determined to bridge this gap, Ashwaas partnered with the Education Department of the Nashik Municipal Corporation to take immediate action. Understanding that financial barriers should never dictate a child's future, the organization stepped in to cover the school fees for affected students. Their intervention ensured that 44 girls, who would have otherwise been denied the chance, could continue their education without interruption.

For these girls, Ashwaas has done more than just pay fees — it has kept their dreams alive. By removing a major obstacle to their education, the organization has helped create a pathway to empowerment, self-reliance, and dignity. It’s a small but powerful step in transforming not just individual lives, but entire communities.
