India faces significant challenges in managing its growing elderly population due to inadequate infrastructure and resources dedicated to geriatric care. This gap often leaves many senior citizens without proper medical attention and support.

To help address this issue, Ashwaas has taken an active role in supporting Matoshree Vruddhashram, an old age home located in Samangaon near Nashik Road. The organization visits the facility regularly to assist with the healthcare needs of its residents.

Since May 2018, Ashwaas has conducted monthly visits to the old age home, providing free medical checkups for the inmates. This consistent presence helps ensure that the elderly receive timely health assessments and necessary care.

In addition to medical checkups, Ashwaas also distributes medicines to the residents at no cost. Their dedication to uninterrupted service over the past six years highlights the importance of community-driven efforts in supplementing geriatric care infrastructure in India.
